If you have been hoping someone would put together a quality L-39 Ground School, the wait is over! Doc Sugden's Teton Warbird Training Center and John Harrison have put together a 5 day L-39 Ground School based on the T-28 Darton formula. The 5 day Ground School costs $2,450.00, which includes all course materials (see below). John Harrison and "Doc" Sugden will ensure you get your moneys worth. Our first class was booked out and a huge success. We had students ranging from an ex-astronaut to a 1000-hour private pilot. Most of our students in the first class owned an L-39 or were in the process of purchasing one. We had a nice variety of pilots and aircraft, which gave us the unique opportunity to observe the effectiveness of our curriculum with such a diverse student body. From the comment sheets filled out by our first graduates, we found our ground school met or exceeded their expectations.
